In Listen, learn and respect, an industry paper on Indigenous Cultural Protocols for Radio, solicitor Terri Janke and radio broadcaster Nancia Guivarra have captured some of the more prominent issues. They stress that it is a paper which sets out some of the major points, but that radio programmers and journalists will need to find out specific protocols within the communities in which they work and interact.
AFTRS's intention in developing and publishing Listen, learn and respect is to ensure that the information contained is readily available to industry and the general public.
