HOW TO ENROL

Once you have accepted your offer of a place into an AFTRS award course, you will need to:
Step 1
Please read the following information prior to completing your enrolment documentation:
- Student Rules, Policies & Procedures 2010 (PDF) - By signing the enrolment form you are agreeing to abide by the rules, policies and procedures contained in this document.
- Student Handbook 2010 (PDF) - This document contains general information about the School.
- Student Guides: NSW , QLD , VIC , SA - Please read/download the student guide (PDFs) relevant to the state in which your course is being run.
Step 2
Please download, complete and submit, by Tuesday 15 December 2009 for Foundation Diploma, all other courses by Thursday 14 January 2010, all of the following documents:
- Enrolment form - To be completed by all students.
- Statistics form - To be completed by all students.
- Screen Studies enrolment & information sheet - To be completed by Graduate Diploma (except Producing, Screen Business & Screenwriting) students only.
Step 3
Please also provide the following documentation by Tuesday 15 December 2009 for Foundation Diploma, all other courses by Thursday 14 January 2010:
- Certified copy of one form of photo identification.
- Certified copy of your birth certificate.
- Certified copy of your proof of Australian citizenship, permanent resident or permanent humanitarian visa (if not born in Australia).
- Certified copy of proof of change of name (if applicable).
Step 4
- 1st semester fees must be paid on or before Friday 5 February 2010.
- 2nd semester fees must be paid on or before Friday 11 June 2010.
You may use one of the following methods to pay your fees:
- FEE-HELP - You may use FEE-HELP to pay all or part of your fees. If you are using FEE-HELP to pay your fees you must submit your completed application form by 5 February 2010.
- Upfront - You may pay all of your fees upfront. Upfront fees must be paid on or before 5 February 2010.
- Instalments - You may pay your fees per semester. Your 1st instalment must be paid on or before 5 February 2010. Your 2nd instalment must be paid on or before 11 June 2010.
The AFTRS student portal will allow you to pay your fees on-line by credit card (Mastercard or Visa only) or generate your invoice to include with your cheque.
Go to AFTRS student portal and login with the same user name and password you used to apply. Click on the 'Fees' link and select 'pay fees on-line' or 'invoice'.
Step 5
You must submit all required documentation on or before Thursday 14 January 2010 to:

Important Points:
- You are required to submit your enrolment documentation on-time. If you do not enrol by the specified date, your place will be forfeited and you will be deemed to have withdrawn.
- You are required to pay your fees, or arrange FEE-HELP on-time. If you do not arrange payment by the specified date, you will be excluded from your course of study.
- In order for documents to meet certification requirements, a copy has to be clearly authorised as a true copy of the original by an appropriate person. Persons who may certify documents include Justices of the Peace (JPs) or a member of AFTRS Student Services.
