Jo-anne has produced award winning documentaries and dramas including small confessions 1993 directed by Belinda Chayko and starring Geoffrey Rush, Servant of the Ancestors (Best Documentary Silver Images, Pan African, Zanzibar Film Festival, 2000), and Troubled Waters (Winner, Dendy Award Sydney Film Festival 2002).
She has worked as Deputy Commissioning Editor of Documentary at SBS Independent and Development Manager at ABC Arts, Entertainment and Comedy. In 2010, she produced with Bridget Ikin, art + soul, a 3 part series on Indigenous art, directed by Warwick Thornton and written and presented by Hetti Perkins.
