This is an exciting time for AFTRS with a new purpose-built facility in the heart of Sydney's cultural precinct recently completed.
What the new school will mean for AFTRS
The move to Moore Park has ensured the School will integrate better and maximise synergies with the screen production, broadcast and arts organisations already located within the precinct and the surrounding areas.
The new campus located within The Entertainment Quarter is in close proximity to Fox Studios, Animal Logic, Soundfirm, Trackdown, Vision Bytes, Spectrum Films and other national and international production companies which means enhanced opportunities for AFTRS students and staff to interact and collaborate with other practitioners and the wider community.
Cultural benefits for AFTRS include creative relationships developing with neighbouring institutions such as NIDA and Universites located nearby.
