Producing courses at AFTRS recognise the importance of content creation and the creative decision making process.  

Technical, legal, administrative and entrepreneurial skills are taught alongside classes that develop leadership, initiative, innovation and imagination.

Practical workshops, exercises, screenings and presentations from industry experts provide learning opportunities for students to refine their skills.

In 2009 Producing can be studied at the following levels:

Award Courses

  • GRADUATE DIPLOMA : SCREEN BUSINESS AND PRODUCING
    Beginning in 2009 AFTRS this course will give you a unique combination of creative, managerial and business perspectives and will equip you to operate effectively as a creative producer, business owner and/or media executive.
     
  • GRADUATE CERTIFICATE : PRODUCING
    A part time option to allow for work and study to be combined this course runs for one semester.
     
  • MASTER OF ARTS HONOURS
    The MA Honours program at AFTRS is an opportunity for in-depth self directed research into a practical, theoretical, technical or creative topic of relevance and significance to the screen arts industry/producing.
