Virtual Worlds courses at AFTRS encompass a diverse range of applications of virtual environments, from social virtual worlds, film pre-visualisation, online games to computer animation.

One of the fastest growing areas of entertainment 'virtual worlds' offer many new opportunities for large scale creative expression.
 

Our courses explore the potential to extend story into multi-user social and game environments and feature collaborative activities with other disciplines to develop virtual world projects for film pre-visualisation and machinima.

Mixed reality cross overs between television and virtual worlds are also explored.
