SHUT UP AND WRITE WORKSHOP

SATURDAY 11 & SUNDAY 12 NOV 2017
BRISBANE

The AFTRS Indigenous Unit is visiting Brisbane and is calling for up to 14 Indigenous writers (18 and over), to participate in a new Initiative called Shut Up and Write.

Shut Up and Write is a two-day workshop designed for early career and up and coming Indigenous storytellers who have an interest in breaking into television.

Over two days participants will be given a broad introduction to what they'll need to know if they wish to embark on a career as a screenwriter in television.

Shut Up and Write will help participants develop their series television ideas into a pitch document that they can use to entice producer interest, or as the basis for further development.

Participants will be given the chance to experience a simulated writers’ room environment.
