The inaugural Cockatoo Island Film Festival is in full flight showcasing international and local productions on the harbour island.

We have had a scroll through the program and spied the following films in the festival's line up made by AFTRS graduates, as follows:


  • Dead Europe the feature length directorial debut for Tony Krawitz
  • Lore - Directed/co-written by Cate Shortland  with Sam Petty as Sound Designer.
  • The Bunker - Written & directed by Kate Vinen, Sound Designer by Glenn Humphries 
Cinematography by Adam Howden, Screen Music by Edwin Montgomery
  • Little Hands Directed & written Claire McCarthy
  • Grace Written & directed by Liz Cooper, Cinematography by Adam Howden, Editing by: Danielle Boesenberg, Sound by Peter ClimpsonParadox Delilah
  • Trace Written, directed & produced by Su Goldfish
