'Just get out of the car and walk away...'
Screen Australia announced today it has provided almost $60,000 to support two short films through its Short Film Completion Fund.

With the goal of ensuring the shorts are completed to a high standard the filmmakers will be able to realise the best versions of their visions.
AFTRS alumnus Lynne Vincent McCarthy (Master of Arts: Screenwriting 1999) the writer/director of the thriller Test Drive - a gripping tale about a woman trapped in the back seat of her own car, captive to two volatile brothers whose relationship is set to explode - will use the funds to complete her short which is destined for the festival circuit, so keep an eye out for it.
