An Aboriginal man Screen legend David Gulpilil in Rolf de Heer's 'Charlie's Country'

Four out of seven Australian feature films selected for this year's Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) are from highly regarded AFTRS alumni: Robert Connolly (Producing), Kriv Stenders (Camera), Tony Ayres (Scriptwriting) and Rolf de Heer (Directing).

The prestigious festival will take place next month from September 4-14, with a program of over 300 films from more than 60 countries.
