AFTRS Rated Top Film School by 'THR'

Jul 31 2015

For the third time in a row today AFTRS was rated as one of the top International Film Schools outside of the United States by The Hollywood Reporter.

AFTRS is once again the only Australian higher educational institution to be included in the list which was released today. AFTRS was also included on the THR's 2014 list of top International film schools.*

Back in 2012 when The Hollywood Reporter created a list of all of the top 25 film schools around the world, which also included film schools in the United States, AFTRS came in at #20 (out of 25 named schools).

The reasons why AFTRS keeps being recognised are because of its comprehensive screen courses, unparalleled facilities & gear and the the successful track record of its alumni, many of whom are working at the highest levels in their chosen areas of specialisations around the world.

We should all be proud of and celebrate this recognition for Australia's national film school.

*In 2013 THR rated only U.S. film schools.
