AFTRS - Nominated for a British Academy Games Award, 'The Banner Saga' Nominated for a British Academy Games Award, 'The Banner Saga'

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) revealed its list of nominees for this year's British Academy 'Games Awards' last week and among the nominees is AFTRS MSA Sound Design alumnus Michael Theiler (along side Austin Wintory, Peret Von Sturmer) for an Audio Achievement Award for The Banner Saga.

The Banner Saga is a Viking-themed tactical role-playing video game developed by Stoic, an indie game developer, published by Versus Evil, an independent video game publisher based in the US.

Congratulations to Michael and The Banner Saga team.

BAFTA will hand out the 2015 British Academy Games Awards in London in March.

The ceremony will be hosted by actor and comedian Rufus Hound, and live-streamed on Twitch, a video platform and community for gamers.
