Jury Prize Win: The Kangaroo Guy

2014 AFTRS MSA student film The Kangaroo Guy directed and written by Joel Loxton has won the Jury Award in the International Student Award category at this year's Montreal World Film Festival.

The festival just wrapped, with Joel's student film having its world premiere on the big screen last Sunday, August 30.

Joel attended the festival and took part in an audience Q&A after the screening.

MWFF is one of Canada's oldest international film festivals held annually in late August in the beautiful city of Montreal in Quebec. It is also the only competitive Film Festival in North America recognized by the FIAPF (International Federation of Film Producers Associations)
