AFTRS CEO Announcement AFTRS new CEO: Neil Peplow

Neil Peplow commences as CEO of AFTRS today.

Prior to taking on the role of CEO at AFTRS Neil was Chief Operating Officer at the Met Film School in West London's Ealing Studios, where he was responsible for the oversight of all education and training programs and Director of the Screen Division at AFTRS from March 2011 to April 2014.

With an MBA from the London Business School (2007) Neil Peplow has extensive experience as a business consultant within the media industry for clients that include: BBC Worldwide, Vue Cinemas, Intandem Films and Fallon Advertising. Neil has also lectured at the NFTS (UK) and for the European Union funded Media Business School.

Director of Film at Skillset until 2011, he was responsible for developing and implementing "A Bigger Future 2, the UK films skills strategy for 2010 - 2013" before relocating to Australia, in 2011, to take up the position of Director of Screen, at AFTRS.

Neil's filmmaking credits include: Mike Bassett: England Manager, Waking Ned and Shooting Fish, Clean, My Summer of Love, River Queen, The Proposition, Bright Young Things and FAQ About Time Travel. Neil has also acted as a co-executive producer on the 2010 Rose D'Or Nominated Showtime TV series LA LA Land.
