SBS recently unveiled its 2015 slate and the line up includes includes a new local drama with two AFTRS alumni on board as key creatives: Kriv Stenders (Red Dog) as director and Alice Addison (The Hunter, The Devils Playground) as co-writer with Kristin Dunphy.

The Principal stars Alex Dimitriades, Aden Young and Salvatore Coco and is Kriv's first time directing television, following a string of feature films including; The Illustrated Family Doctor, Boxing Day and the highly successful Red Dog.


The four-part series is being produced by renowned Australian producer Ian Collie of Essential Media (behind TV series such as Rake) and is is currently filming in Sydney. It is due to air later in the year.
