Teenage Kicks is the debut feature written/directed by AFTRS alumnus Craig Boreham (Directing 2009) which has been selected to screen at the 2016 Sydney Film Festival. The debut feature is the follow on from Craig's student film; Ostia La Notte Finale made in 2009.

The debut feature explores themes of guilt, friendship, cultural and familial loyalty, and burgeoning sexuality and also features the work of fellow AFTRS' graduates Bonnie Elliott (Cinematography 2006) and Adrian Chiarella (Editing 2009).

EMPIRE MAGAZINE wrote of Teenage Kicks:

"Good young actors and a veteran short director making meaningful, gutsy stuff." 

Teenage Kicks screens during the festival on Saturday June 11 at 8:30pm at Event Cinemas George Street and Thursday June  16 6:15pm at Dendy Newtown.Teenage Kicks is also screening in Newcastle as part of the Traveling Film Festival on Saturday June 25 at 8:30pm at Tower Cinemas, Newcastle.
