The Art of Seduction ...

AFTRS Alumni Craig Boreham, who graduated from AFTRS in Directing (2008 and 2009), currently has his short documentary William Yang: The Art of Seduction up on ABC iView as part of a dedicated life and times of William Yang playlist on ABC iView channel as part of Mardi Gras 2016.

The nine-minute documentary looks at the work of highly regarded Australian artist and photographer William Yang who is best known for his photographs of male nudes. The ABC included Craig’s short documentary because, “in many ways this is the most personal and vulnerable of his [William Yang] work…”

Craig made the documentary while he was studying directing at the Australian Film Television and Radio School and it went on to premiere at the opening night of the 2010 Mardi Gras Festival. The short doco was also selected for inclusion in the Canberra National Film and Sound Archive's inaugural Queer Film Festival award in 2010 and selected for inclusion in the Iris Prize and Outfest Los Angeles.
