Congratulations to AFTRS student Jack Atherton (BA Year 3) whose film, Night on Floating Island has been selected for the 2018 Slamdance Film Festival to play in the Narrative Short program.

Night on Floating Island is about a strange man, from a storm drain, watching a tourist rollerblading through an unfamiliar nightscape in search of his missing girlfriend or an anonymous sexual encounter in a park. This will be the film's Nothern American premiere.
