Nuke Foundation introduces you to the world of professional compositing in the industry standard compositing package for high end productions such as The Hobbit, Iron Man, Transformers, Tron: Legacy and The Avengers!

Whether you are new to compositing, or already have experience in other packages such as Shake, Combustion or After Effects, this course is a great way to first experience the awesome power of Nuke. Tutor Tyson Donnelly (Animal Logic) will not only teach you the core compositing skills, he'll also take the lid off Nuke and show you the theory underlying Nuke’s design and techniques to help you pick up the more complex aspects of the package in your own time.

In this course you will learn:

  • Confident use of the user interface
  • Compositing live action and CG elements into a shot
  • Basic rotoscoping and wire removal techniques
  • An introduction to colour grading and colour correcting
  • Basic keying for green screens
  • How to lay out your composite professionally
