​VFX Supervisor Ron Roberts (Happy Feet 2, Beneath Hill 60, The Matrix) leads this introductory two day class for all content creators, including established producers and directors, who are looking for an overview on how the latest in visual effects technology and practices can help their productions.

Through class based lectures, case studies and discussions you will learn:

  • VFX as a solution to budget problems
  • VFX as a logistic solution
  • VFX as a scheduling solution
  • VFX to solve unwanted environmental conditions
  • VFX to help you tell your story
  • VFX in pre production
  • VFX on the shoot
  • VFX in post production

Learn how a proper understanding of VFX options and workflows can help you get the most from your production's budget, schedule, equipment and personnel.

N.B. - This is a lecture, classroom based course. No prior software knowledge or any other prerequisites are required.

This course is only open to students aged 18 +. If you are under 18, you will not be eligible to attend this course.
