Holly Lyons has extensive experience as a television scriptwriter and script producer in both the UK and Australia. In the UK Holly co-created a comedy drama for ITV, Help! I’m a Teenage Outlaw, and to date she has over 90 broadcast credits as a scriptwriter, and over 400 broadcast credits as a script producer or script editor.

From 2011 to 2014 she worked for Home and Away (Network Seven) in various roles, including Script Producer, Associate Script Producer, Script Editor and freelance writer. In 2014, Matchbox Pictures optioned her original television drama series. Holly has written for UK prime time soaps, including Emmerdale, where she was the sole script editor, and Crossroads, where she held the position of Series Script Executive. She wrote the pilot script for the preschool animation series, Hana’s Helpline and wrote the pilot script for the highly successful series Horrid Henry, based on the best-selling books by Francesca Simon. Holly has been hired as a script editor on numerous projects. As script editor for Granada Kids in London, she was across shows in both development and production.

Other writing credits include: Neighbours (Fremantle), Dani’s House (The Foundation UK), Girls in Love (ITV), Bananas in Pyjamas (Southern Star), Sam Fox Extreme Adventures (SLR Productions), My Parents are Aliens (ITV), My Almost Famous Family (BBC) Fireman Sam (HIT).
