John pursued his love of movies by joining the AFTRS family in 2000, as a volunteer on student productions. He performed a variety of roles in many different departments within the school until he found his calling in the finance department in 2006. Working as a member of the finance team at AFTRS continues to combine his love of movies and numbers. He was appointed the Head of Finance in 2016.
John holds a Master of Accounting (Professional) degree and a Bachelor of Commerce (Actuarial Studies) degree from Macquarie University. He has been a member of CPA Australia since 2011.
