2010 AWGIE AWARD WINNERS

The Winners of the 2010 AWGIE awards were announced at an awards ceremony held in Melbourne recently, and four AFTRS graduates took home a shiny gold trophy.

 

Sam Meikle (Scriptwriting, 2001) - Home and Away Ep 5068

Television: Serial category

 

Jacquelin Perske (Scriptwriting, 1994) - Spirited - The Man Who Fell To Earth

Television: Series category

 

Robert Connolly (Producing, 1995) - Balibo (shared with David Williamson AO)

Feature Film: Screenplay Adaptation category

 

Timothy Wilde (Screenwriting, 2007) won two awards - Primeval Evolved (shared with Anthony Mullins) Interactive Media category and the 2010 John Hinde Award for Science Fiction.

 

The AWGIE awards celebrate excellence in performance writing across film, television, theatre and radio.
