Several AFTRS graduates' projects have been selected for the 60th annual Berlin International Film Festival to be held from February 11-21, 2010 in Berlin.
Rachel Perkins' (Producing, 1996) Bran Nue Dae has been selected to screen in competition in the Generation 14 Plus section.
Franswa Sharl, a short film set in Fiji directed by Hannah Hilliard (Directing 2007) is in the Generation KPlus section, a program targeting the youngest cinemagoers aged four years and over.
Cut Snake, written by Blake Ayshford, to be produced by Michael McMahon and directed by Tony Ayres (Scriptwriting, 1990), is in the Berlinale Co-Production Market.
AFTRS grad Zen Rosenthal (Editing, 2008) is one of four Australians off to the Berlinale Talent Campus - a six-day creative summit attracting 350 young filmmakers from around the world.
