EDITING SUCCESS FOR AFTRS ALUMNUS

22 Aug 2012

Jason "JJ" Jamieson (Graduate Diploma Editing, 2011) is chuffed to say the least that his application for the American Cinema Editors Internship Program, which accepts just two American and one international editor each year was successful - making Jason the sole successful international applicant!

JJ explains: "I totally get honoured with a plaque from the ACE at next year's Eddie awards in Hollywood and get to meet and be mentored by the masters of the craft that I, myself, aspire to be a master of."

One of the requirements of Jason's application was to include two professional references - one of which was outgoing AFTRS Head of Editing Luke Doolan and the other from his "soundie peer" Fabrice Galli (Graduate Diploma Editing, 2011)

Jason would like to acknowledge the support of Luke and Fabrice and thank them for the "nice things they had to say about me".

Stellar effort and big congratulations to Jason.
