AFTRS

SHOW RADIO

05 Apr 2012

Every year AFTRS Radio is part of a live broadcast direct from the main showring at Sydney's Royal Easter Show and 2012 is no exception. Run entirely by the students Show Radio embraces all the excitement and colour of the annual Royal Easter Show.

You can listen to the current crop of AFTRS Radio students broadcasting live from 8am to 8pm each day from the Show at Homebush starting this Thursday, April 5 through to Wednesday April 18.

Show Radio is the official broadcaster of the Easter Show, delivering information about show activities, show characters, updating listeners on traffic in the area and public transport to and from Homebush, all mixed in with country music favourites reflecting the Show's rural roots.

A great opportunity for the current crop of radio students to learn all about live broadcasting - from presenting, producing and reporting - in front of the public Show Radio can be heard on 107.9 FM (in Sydney) for the duration of the show.

Show Radio will also have its own dedicated microsite with audio streaming and a Show Radio blog up and running from April 5 too.
