Master of Screen Arts, 2014
Vanessa is an award-winning, ADG and AWGIE Award-nominated writer and director whose short films Foal, Highway and Shiloh have screened at over thirty film festivals internationally. She completed her Masters in Directing at the Australian Film, Television and Radio School in 2014, winning the school’s Kenneth B. Myer Award for Exceptional Talent upon graduating. Her upcoming debut feature, an adaption of Highway, is in development with Goalpost Pictures/Automatik and has received 2018 Screen Australia development funding. Her original miniseries Id is a recipient of the Screen Australia ROAR: Smart for a Girl television writing initiative and is currently in development with Endemol Shine. Vanessa is a recipient of an ADG/Screen Australia Commercial and Content Mentorship with Scoundrel Films and is represented by Grandview LA and WME.
