The Production & Operations team comprises Production, Facilities, Technology and Finance teams. The team works collaboratively to ensure that the School’s infrastructure is fit for purpose to support delivery of the highly practical, future-focussed and industry aligned student learning experience the school is known for.
With a largely internal focus, this division brings together the technology, production and facilities team to enable a whole-of-school infrastructure that facilitates the practical delivery of AFTRS curriculum against industry best practice, whilst also having an eye on the future and innovation. The division supports strategic planning at AFTRS by developing long-range financial plans and providing visibility and controls around facilities and equipment utilisation, capital and asset management, and investment planning. Externally, the team works with industry and tertiary partners to seek expertise and benchmark on the industry alignment of its facilities and production methods and to ensure safe and equitable access to AFTRS facilities.
