In this certificate course, delivered over three intensive, practical weeks, you’ll learn the essentials skills to be an asset on the camera team of any film or TV production. Taught by DP Carolyn Constantine ACS, you’ll work with industry standard equipment (ARRI and SONY) in our state-of-the-art studios.

If your goal is to work in the camera department in film and TV production, this course will give you all the essentials skills to get started on your journey to DP. You’ll learn:
- The workflow of data management from capture to post
- Camera menu settings, methods of camera protection and maintenance
- How to plan and prepare camera pre-production requirements
- How to assemble and test a camera to meet requirements of a brief
- Practice the essential skill of focus pulling
- All important onset protocols and etiquette
