This two-day course is designed for people who wish to learn the latest sound recording techniques used in capturing speech and sound effects using portable recording equipment. “The most important thing students must learn is 90% of film is sound. Learn about sound propagation and capture, microphones and mixers, analogue and digital signal paths

Be exposed to techniques for dealing with different recording environments

Learn to set up and operate portable sound recording equipment commonly used in film and television production
