WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
With the guidance of industry professionals at every stage, students will try their hand at a variety of different roles – they’ll learn how to write scenes, direct sequences, understand camera and lighting and work collaboratively on creating a short film, which will be screened on the last day of the course..
This course covers:
* Art Direction & Set Design,
* Performance for the screen and directing actors,
* Sound Effects,
* Editing (Using Adobe Premiere Pro),
* Producing – what do they actually do?
They will hear from professionals in each craft area of the filmmaking process about what their roles involve and how they progressed their careers in the Australian industry. At the end of the course students family and friends will be invited to attend a screening of the group’s films in the AFTRS theatre.
