Christopher is a story developer and producer. He has worked in senior development roles for production companies in Australia and the UK, and within government funding bodies. He is currently Head of Development for Thumper Pictures, the newly established film and TV arm of the award-winning commercials production company Rabbit Content. Previously he has worked as Head of Development at RevLover (Diary of an Uber Driver) and was the Development Executive at the London based Material Entertainment (Run Fatboy Run), a co-venture between New Line Cinema and Entertainment Film Distributors.
Within screen agencies, Christopher has worked as Director of Development at Screen Queensland and was a Development Executive at Screen Australia. In these roles, alongside project management, he helped design and implement development workshops and talent incubators, such as Screen Australia’s Springboard Workshop and the SQ Projector. He brought out development experts like Ted Hope and Syd Field to give workshops to Australian practitioners.
He has also assessed hundreds of scripts and projects over the last twelve years, as an in-house executive, an external assessor for Australian and UK film entities, and during his time working at FilmNation – arguably America’s premiere film sales company.
