Cleo Baldwin is in her third year of the Bachelor of Arts Screen: Production at AFTRS and aspires to be a writer and director. During her time at AFTRS, she has worked as a first assistant director on short films Trolley, GoingGreen.Org and Oz! and as a production designer on short documentary Talent Over Tourettes which was showcased on SBS On Demand. Her favourite role so far has been writer/director of Girl Dog, a short poetic documentary about the word ‘bitch’ and the influence of language on our perception of women. She is currently writing and directing a proof of concept for a crime comedy show called In the Cold of the Sun. As Council Member and Chair of Student Representative Committee, Cleo endeavours to support under-represented students and to create a greater sense of the AFTRS community.
