EO Gill’s professional objective is to help foster diversity, equity, experimentation and risk-taking within the creative arts sector. EO works within the First Nations and Outreach team as the Project Officer with the Screen Diversity Inclusion Network – a network of broadcasters, screen funding agencies, guilds and industry-aligned education organisations who are committed to working together towards a more inclusive and diverse screen industry. EO is a video artist and is currently undergoing a practice-led PhD at Sydney University. Their work interrogates gender, class-politics and intimacy. Recently their work has been exhibited at Artspace, Sydney and the Australian Centre Contemporary Art, Melbourne. They were the 2018 recipient of the $30,000 Create NSW Visual Arts Fellowship. EO is also the lead videographer on acclaimed 24-hour live performance The Second Woman which continues to tour both nationally and internationally.
