Georgia Collins

Tutor

Something of a white tiger in sound, Georgia Collins is one of a scarce few female engineers in the industry.

Before moving into post production, Georgia worked as a recording and mixing engineer. Now working predominantly in post production sound design, Georgia has worked on spots for Nike, The Sydney Theatre Company and the Australian Ballet. Her sound design flair and mixing can be heard on the ABC’s Sarah’s Channel, Pool Collective’s Salt in the Blood and numerous short films. Georgia recently completed work on Eliza Scanlen’s (Little Women) highly anticipated directorial debut, Mukbang, as sound designer and mix engineer.

Georgia is a regular guest on panels discussing all things audio, and recently through MusicNSW, ran a masterclass at Sydney’s 301 Studios, mentoring up-and-coming women, non-binary and trans artists.
