Mark Stewart-Pearson has a background in both digital media production and corporate IT. He has worked with companies and institutions including ABC, AFTRS, Animal Logic, Tourism Australia, Cordell Jigsaw Zapruder, Red Bull Australia, PedestrianTV, Westpac Bank Creative Services, Destination NSW and Apple to design, develop and implement large scale digital media solutions and specialises in video workflow and digital asset management for file-based media.
As part of Apple’s successful bid to implement a large digital media solution for the ABCs News/Current Affairs department in 2007-8, Mark led a team that analysed requirements and then proposed and implemented Editing & Workflow solutions at the ABCs studios across Australia. Mark teaches courses in data management for video at AFTRS, including data wrangling and managing data in post-production. Mark has also worked as a video editor specialising in Corporate Video, TVCs & documentaries.
Prior to working in digital media production, Mark worked as a Software Engineer and DBA in corporate IT in Sydney and the UK for companies including IBM, NRMA and Macquarie Bank.
