Troy has an eclectic mix of storytelling experience, combining his two greatest professional passions – technology and the arts. He currently sits on the advisory board of a select number of innovative Australian startups, drawing on his entrepreneurial experiences including three years in Silicon Valley with his own machine learning startup.
Having toured theatrical productions worldwide, ending up with a season on Broadway, Troy has enjoyed working with great storytellers for over 25 years. He’’ never strayed too far from either passion, managing to incorporate his technological expertise in theatre and his storytelling experience in technology.
In 2014 Troy led the design and construction of one of the world’s first carrier agnostic television, radio and live performance broadcast facilities in Kings Cross. Drawing heavily on his experience designing and building data centres and his live broadcasting experience, Troy and his team created a world-class immersive and feature-filled experience for content creators and consumers alike.
Most recently, Troy has been the CTO of a world-leading stress and wellness startup which has grown tremendously over the last three years and is now servicing a vast array of clients supported by a great team.
Troy is passionate about equity and inclusion in the workplace and the ethical application of technology, leading to the democratisation of storytelling.
