AFTRS ALUMNI FILMS AT SYDNEY FILM FESTIVAL

The 2017 Sydney Film Festival line-up features a whopping 12 films by AFTRS alumni, including Warwick Thornton’s We Don’t Need A Map, which is the Open Night film and also screens in Official Competition. Kriv Stenders will premiere two new films, Australia Day and documentary, The Go-Betweens: Right Here doco.

Other unmissable films include Erica Glynn’s In My Own Words, Hollie Fifer’s The Opposition, Su Goldfish’s The Last Goldfish, a preview of Season 2 of Wayne Blair’s Cleverman, Ali’s Wedding produced by Tony Aires, Samantha Lang’s newly restored ’97 classic The Well (1997), Daniel Monk’s Pulse (part of the new Screenability program), Alex Murawski’s short film Snow (Lexus Fellowship winner) and Andrew Lee’s short film Melon Grab (Dendy Awards contender).
