AFTRS alumni are a dynamic community of practitioners, advocates and supporters, who are committed to and invest in the future of Australian stories. Our 4000+ graduates are a diverse group spread across all sectors of the industry, all over the world. Find a list of our alumni here.
In January 2021, we commenced a project to re-connect with as many alumni as possible. If you are an AFTRS alumnus and you haven’t heard from us in a while, chances are we don’t have your current contact details. We would love to invite you to our events and future reunions. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and keep us updated on your news.
The central goal of this project is to acknowledge and celebrate our alumni, help them connect with fellow AFTRS graduates in meaningful ways and support their career development. While we work on the finer details, please join our the AFTRS Alumni Facebook Group and the AFTRS Noticeboard.
TEACHING AND MENTORING
Alumni are invited to submit expressions of interest for casual or guest lecturing to share their experience and specific skills with a diverse range of students. We are seeking industry practitioners to guest lecturing at AFTRS in award courses, short courses, corporate training and industry certificates. In the first instance please email email@example.com.
Our alumni, their stories and their successes are showcased on the AFTRS News section, on the AFTRS Blog and social media channels, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn. Always use and follow #AFTRSAlumni for the latest.
AFTRS alumni (graduates of our awards courses) are entitled to a 20% discount off the industry price on all industry short courses and Industry Certificates, and 20% off the standard course price for introductory short courses. Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to get your alumni promo code.
AFTRS’ Charlie’s Grant is an annual, competitive virtual grant for four AFTRS alumni, providing career development opportunities. The AIF also organizes a virtual Hollywood showcase for AFTRS graduate works.
