Alumni program

Women's Training Workshop, 1975

AFTRS alumni are a dynamic, sustainable community of advocates and supporters who are committed to, and invest in, the future of Australian stories.

The AFTRS Alumni Program has been established to harness and support a community of alumni committed to the Australian screen and broadcast industry thriving in an ever changing landscape, by offering connections and professional development opportunities.

Program Benefits

Teaching and mentoring

We would like to invite alumni to an expression of interest for casual or guest lecturing to share their experience of specific skills with a diverse range of students. We are seeking expressions of interest from industry practitioners who are interested in guest lecturing at AFTRS in Award courses, short courses, corporate training, industry certificates, or school holiday courses.

Applications will open in January 2019. Please provide your email and we will notify you when the applications are open. Please clearly identify the program(s) and discipline(s) you are applying for in your application i.e. Award/Corporate/Short Course/Youth Program etc.

An official mentoring program will be announced in 2019.
