Why study Editing at AFTRS

Thoroughly engage with the field of creative editing, experiencing the pressures and rewards of being a screen editor. You will work closely with directors and producers and learn about managing your own editorial assistants.

Engage with creative editing

Industry practitioners will contribute to the coursework program, providing insights into their practice, and you will collaborate with fellow students in small cross-disciplinary groups.

Acquire professional editing skills

Equip yourself with the skills to edit professional screen projects and the confidence to pitch directors and producers directly.

Career opportunities
