The generous support of individuals and foundations will enable talented Australian storytellers from diverse backgrounds to tell their stories and support the next wave of creative innovations.

Alumni and Industry Scholarship Fund

Help us support the next generation of Australian storytellers. AFTRS has established the Alumni and Industry Fund to expand and enrich the School’s student community.

For more information, please visit the Alumni & Industry Fund page, or to donate directly click here.

Quality training should be accessible to talented learners across Australia, regardless of their background or financial circumstances.

AFTRS recognises the capacity, skills, knowledge, connections and potential that under-represented individuals can bring to telling stories at AFTRS and beyond. Scholarships recognise creative excellence and the value of a broad range of lived experience, while making participation possible for those who might be otherwise excluded on financial or other grounds.

AFTRS and its generous donors provide financial support for students to contribute to their living expenses and tuition fees. To find out more, visit the scholarships page or email scholarships@aftrs.edu.au.

AFTRS Gift Giving

AFTRS is endorsed by the Australian Taxation Office as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) and is therefore able to offer tax deductibility in Australia for gifts of $2 or more to the School.

AFTRS accepts donations, bequests and enduring gifts for scholarships for talented individuals who do not have the financial means to participate. Your gift will have a direct impact on the success of our students.
