Michelle has produced award-winning screen content across multiple formats and genres for over two decades. Her scripted broadcast credits include 7 x 30-minute sketch comedy series Wham Bam Thank You Ma’am for the ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) and Seeso (NBCU), half-hour narrative comedy Timothy for the ABC, 11 x 30-minute comedy entertainment series Back Seat Drivers for ABC2, and the International Emmy® Award-winning multi-platform comedy series #7DaysLater.
Prior to moving into scripted, Michelle worked across numerous lifestyle programs for the Seven Network Australia including The Great Outdoors, New Idea TV and Better Homes and Gardens as well as producing branded content for agencies, networks, and production companies.
From 2017 to 2020, Michelle was the VP of Scripted Development at EQ Media (formerly Essential Media), where she was responsible for developing the 6 x 1-hour rom-com drama series, Under The Vines, created by Erin White and starring Rebecca Gibney. The series was commissioned by AMC’s Acorn TV and TVNZ and was produced by Libertine Pictures and EQ Media in association with Hardy White Pictures. Following a successful first series, the second series completed filming in New Zealand in May 2022.
Michelle is currently the Industry Program Manager at Screen Producers Australia, works as a guest tutor at AFTRS and is the co-founder of Hardy White Pictures, with Australian director Erin White.
