Michelle has produced award-winning screen content across multiple formats and genres for over two decades. Michelle is a co-founder of Hardy White Pictures with director, Erin White, and she is currently developing the Hardy White Pictures slate of scripted TV projects, two of which she has created and another she is co-writing. Under The Vines, created by Erin White, starring Rebecca Gibney and Charles Edwards, and produced by Perpetual Media and Libertine Pictures in association with Hardy White Pictures for AcornTV and TVNZ, is in post-production on its third series in New Zealand. Michelle is an Associate Producer on the series and was also heavily involved in its financing and development.
Since 2020, Michelle has worked with Screen Producers Australia (SPA) across industry programs including the SCREEN FOREVER SPA Connect Market. From 2017 to 2020, Michelle was the VP of Scripted Development at EQ Media Group (now Perpetual Entertainment). While in this role Michelle successfully developed projects with commissioners, funding agencies and international distributors including the New Zealand Film Commission, Screen QLD, Sky NZ, Acorn TV, TVNZ, Federation Entertainment and Lagardere Studios. Michelle’s scripted broadcast credits include sketch comedy series Wham Bam Thank You Ma’am for the ABC and Seeso (NBCU), half-hour narrative comedy Timothy and comedy entertainment series Back Seat Drivers, both also for the ABC, and the International Emmy® Award-winning multi-platform comedy series #7Dayslater.
Prior to moving into scripted, Michelle worked across numerous lifestyle programs for the Seven Network Australia including The Great Outdoors, New Idea TV and Better Homes and Gardens as well as producing branded content campaigns for agencies, networks and production companies in both the UK and Australia.
