Taylor Litton-Strain is an award-winning producer named ‘ONE TO WATCH’ by Screen Producers Australia in 2018. Taylor’s primary interest is in creating female-driven genre projects, including thriller, crime and mystery.
Taylor’s past work includes being a development executive and producer for Essential Media & Entertainment, working in international sales at SBS Television and recently as Kylie du Fresne’s producer’s assistant on UNIVERSAL’s The Invisible Man. She currently works as a tutor for production at the Australian, Film Television and Radio School. Taylor’s mentors include Greer Simpkin from Bunya Productions (Mystery Road, Sweet Country), and executive producer Bea Sequeira from Blumhouse Productions (The Craft, Us, Get Out).
Taylor is the producer of over 15 award-winning short films and the hit fantasy web series Jade of Death. With over 3.5 million views online, the series has won or been nominated for over 60 awards worldwide including BEST DIGITAL SERIES at the C21 Drama Awards (London). Jade of Death is now in development as a television series led by creator Erin Good and with support from Create NSW. The pilot script was shortlisted for Sundance Lab 2020.
Other projects in development include; Kara, Infected a survival-thriller web series, supported in development by Screen Australia; Aloft a VR film, supported in development by Create NSW; and The Forgotten a crime/mystery series which was selected for Screen Australia’s Engendered Masterclass run by Raelle Tucker (Jessica Jones) and Jeremy Podeswa (Game of Thrones).
