AFTRS is located in a state-of-the-art purpose built campus within the Entertainment Quarter in Moore Park, Sydney.

GETTING TO & FROM AFTRS SYDNEY

  • Building 130 is located inside the Entertainment Quarter close-by to the Hoyts cinema.
  • Public vehicle and pedestrian access to the Entertainment Quarter is via the main entrance on Lang Rd.
  • The Entertainment Quarter precinct can be reached easily by private car and public transport and a multilevel carpark is located on site.

By Car

From the CBD:

From the CBD, head east

Take ANZAC PARADE, MOORE PARK

Turn left at LANG RD, MOORE PARK

Turn left into Errol Flynn Boulevard at The Entertainment Quarter

From the Airport:

Head North and make your way to SOUTH DOWLING ST.

Turn right at CLEVELAND ST, REDFERN

Continue along LANG RD, MOORE PARK

Turn left into Errol Flynn Boulevard at The Entertainment Quarter

Parking at the EQ

The Entertainment Quarter has over 2000 car spaces on site.

Rates:

0 - 2 hours: Free

2 - 3 hours: $8

Then you must validate your parking ticket at the front desk for a fixed day rate of $8.

Non-validated tickets incur standard rates up to $25.

Entry after 6pm (excluding special events) flat rate $7.

Event day parking rates apply from time to time. AFTRS can validate your parking ticket on these days.

By Train

Catch a train to Central Station, then take a bus or walk to Moore Park.

'Moore Park Link' - combined train/bus tickets are available to get you to and from Moore Park on a single ticket.

'Moore Park Link' is available from most CityRail stations with a ticket office.

    From 7pm onwards AND weekends – every 20 minutes

Accessibility

AFTRS is a place for everyone and our aim is to make it accessible to all visitors, of all ages, including those with additional mobility requirements.

Elevators and ramps are located around the building, allowing access to all of the venues for courses and events.

Closest public accessible drop off and pick up point is on Errol Flynn Boulevard (the entrance road to the Entertainment Quarter). Accessible car spaces are located on the ground level of the Wilson car park. The distance to our building is approximately 250m on a slight incline.

You can be dropped off at the rear entrance of AFTRS via the service road in the Entertainment Quarter. It is best to contact us on 02 9805 6611 so we can direct you and arrange access.
