Vale Samantha Rebillet

On 28 November 2017, AFTRS alumna Samantha Rebillet (Master of Arts: Film, Television and Digital Media Directing – 2005) passed away. This exceedingly talented film director, actress, screenwriter, producer, singer and songwriter wrote, directed and produced several films and documentaries, among which was the 2004 documentary Butterfly Man. The film won a Silver Cub Award at the International Documentary Film Festival in Amsterdam (IDFA). We are deeply saddened by Samantha and our thoughts are with her family and friends.
