In July of 2018, AFTRS revealed the School’s new visual identity, which was undertaken to with Sydney-based design studio M35. The work was immediately recognised by the United Kingdom’s top design and branding websites Visuelle. Just two short months later, AFTRS’ identity has been named a finalist in the Australian Graphic Design Association’s 2018 Design Awards.
The AGDA Design Awards recognise the best work in Australia across a wide range of disciplines every year. The awards aim to further the discussion about design and to stimulate the creative progress of the industry. They highlight every generation of talent, from students at colleges and universities, through to the long-established leaders of our profession. The Finalist level is deemed an award level in its own right, and considered the equivalent of Bronze in other awards programs.
Trophy winners will be announced at the awards ceremony in Melbourne on Saturday 10 November.
