Alumni Works Premiere State-Side at LA's Outfest LGBTQIA+ Film Festival

Works by AFTRS alumni are screening at the digital edition of Outfest Los Angeles LGBTQIA+ Film Festival.

As an Academy Award-qualifier and the largest film festival in Los Angeles, Outfest Los Angeles LGBTQIA+ Film Festival is one of the preeminent festivals in the world representing Queer cinema. Outfest LA 2020 includes 160+ world-class films, 35 world premieres, 10 North American premieres and 4 U.S. premieres, live concerts and conversations. The festival’s 2019 edition featured the international premiere of AFTRS Masters feature film, Sequin in a Blue Room (now screening at Dendy Cinemas).

This year, five shorts and one feature film have been selected to screen as part of a bumper lineup for the virtual event, which runs from 20-30 August. These works include –
