As Head of Training Gemma oversees the Short Courses, AFTRS for Business, and Industry Partnered Training programs, which are responsible for providing gold-standard training to thousands of individuals a year in screen & audio industry skills.
This follows Gemma’s time working for several years as Head of Short Courses, Program Manager, and Delivery Supervisor where she discovered her passion for industry-relevant, skills-focused training.
Prior to joining AFTRS Gemma worked largely in live and unscripted television in roles including Associate Producer, Floor Manager and Production Coordinator at Seven Network (The Morning Show, It’s Academic, Wheel of Fortune, and others), as well as in post-production at Beyond Productions, Essential Media and ITV Studios.
Gemma is a graduate of Charles Sturt University with a BA in Television Production.
