Henry Koehne is a film producer and co-founder of Cosmic Scream, an independent Australian production company specialising in genre film and television. The company’s work has screened at every major domestic film festival and at more than 50 international festivals. Its slate has been licensed in over 40 European and African territories through Canal+ and in Japan through Pacific Voice.
The team is known for SUSHI NOH (Palm Springs International ShortFest, Atlanta Film Festival, Lund Fantastic Film Festival), LUNA & THE BRAIN TUNA (SXSW Sydney, Aspen Shortsfest), BELLOE (Flickers’ Rhode Island International Film Festival, Beyond Fest), and the upcoming video game adaptation of END OF EMBER.
In 2025, Henry and his co-founders were awarded The Post Lounge Prize at MIFF 37ºSouth Market. In 2026, he was selected for the JETS Initiative during the 76th Berlin International Film Festival, where his feature project LUNA — a co-production between South Australian company Closer Stories and London-based Good Chaos — was among the winning projects.
Prior to producing, Henry worked as a corporate lawyer and held commercial roles across retail, property and biotechnology. He holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of South Australia and an MBA from Melbourne Business School.
