Kate Ayrton is an experienced broadcast and digital media producer with a passion for developing engaging transmedia storytelling experiences for brands and products, centred on using the latest technology with a strong focus on UX and human-centred design principles.
Having worked with some of the world’s leading advertising and digital agencies, production companies and broadcasters over the past 15+ years, Kate consults on the development of all types of media – from TV commercials, web series and 360˙videos, to web dev, virtual reality, games, and other interactive digital media projects.
A graduate of New York University film school and University of Technology Sydney with a Bachelor in Film and Theatre Studies and a Master in Interactive Multimedia, Kate also runs digital media workshops for organisations like Screenwest, ABC, Metro Screen, and Billy Blue College of Design. Kate’s other clients include SBS, Samsung, Foxtel, Telstra, PWC, Google, UTS, CBA, Sydney Opera House and Vivid Festival.
Advocating best industry practices and strong project management workflows, Kate helps students to prepare for successful careers and jobs in the industry.
