Kate Ayrton is a senior digital producer working across a range of platforms to bring strategic, innovative and human-centred design skills to content production. Starting out producing TVCs for top agencies in New York, Los Angeles and Sydney, Kate has tracked her professional practice alongside an evolving digital media landscape that has redefined the industry.
An advocate for strong project management workflows, Kate is also passionate about using the latest technologies to support creative transmedia storytelling, including 360° video, VR, websites, apps, games, interactive experiences, and more. Projects include the Good Design award-winning Destination NSW website and Songlines 360, a virtual reality short film complimenting Vivid’s Lighting of the Sails at Sydney Opera House.
Kate is a graduate of New York University film school (BFA in Film & Theatre Studies) and University of Technology Sydney (Master’s in Interactive Multimedia). As well as varied creative digital production roles, Kate teaches digital media courses for AFTRS, UTS and University of Sydney.
